August proved to be a memorable month for movie buffs. Films such as Kalyan Ram’s Bimbisara, the Dhanush-led Thiruchitrambalam, and the Dulquer Salmaan-starrer Sita Ramam exceeded expectations. Vijay Deverakonda’s Liger, however, failed to woo the audience. September promises to be an equally exciting affair for cinephiles. Ponniyin Selvan, Gold, and Captain are some of the biggest movies slated to hit the screens this month. Other than that, Vikrant Rona will premiere on Zee5 on September 2.

Here is a list of films from the Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada film industries that you can watch in theatres and on OTT platforms in September.
